In the short clip, smoke appears over a black background with Victor speaking to Jack saying: "Jack, wait until you see this!"

To which, his partner in crime responds: "What is this we're looking at?"

Victor then states: "I don't know, do you think it's a message of some sort?"

Before Jack adds: "A message about what? There's hee-haw there."

Victor then mysteriously finishes with: "Maybe that's the message."

The pair then agree to go to the resident pub, The Clansman, before the 'Still Here In Spirit' logo is revealed.

Another jokingly posted that they can't wait to see Jack do a "Boaby Ewing scene out of Dallas", with others posting gifs of the wrestler the Undertaker rising from a coffin.

One quipped that they were "coming back as ghosts to haunt Craiglang".

However, most were keen on the idea that the reference to "spirit" as well as The Clansman, could mean that the pair are set to make a Jack and Victor whisky (or perhaps some bootleg hooch?) .

One person tweeted: "We looking at a new DRAMa?"

Another made reference to the infamous distillery scene, posting: "Do I suspect a new Whisky either from Glengoyne or something from Tennents? Filtered through the heather, a blonde wooden barrel perhaps?"

The much-loved series officially signed off back in March 2019 with an emotional final episode after series nine ended.

But fans have been desperate for another Still Game fix, could they soon be getting what they want?
