Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has slammed Conor McGregor for his part in a bar room brawl back in 2019.

McGregor was fined €1,000 (£869) in November 2019 for assaulting Desmond Keogh at the Marble Arch pub in Dublin.

In the CCTV footage McGregor was seen offering customers shots of his whiskey, Proper No. Twelve.

Keogh, seated at the bar, refused the glass. McGregor then punched him before being hustled out by companions.

The ‘Notorious’ has since purchased the pub and renamed it the ‘Black Forge Inn’, with one of his first acts of business to bar Keogh.

Jackson, 43, admitted he was impressed with the way the former two-weight world champion has helped grow the sport, but said he needs to teach him some manners for his role in the altercation.

“I don’t agree with everything Conor says, but I think he’s great for the sport,” Jackson told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour. “You know, at the end of the day he’s an entertainer.

“In my book, Conor can say and do whatever he wants. He kind of does stuff that makes himself look bad. I’ve never met the guy, but I’m a fan of Conor McGregor for what he’s done for the sport.
